At NexCV ("we," the "Controller") we protect your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and applicable regulations. This Notice describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Personal data we collect
Identification and contact data: name and email. Authentication data: password (stored encrypted via hashing) or your Google account identifier and profile photo.
Résumé content: the PDF file and text of your CV, which may include your work history, education, skills, and contact details you choose to include.
Usage and transaction data: selected sector, language, analysis history, credits, and purchase records. Payment data: processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
2. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary for the service): create and manage your account; process and analyze your CV; deliver the verdict and corrections; manage payments, credits, and subscriptions; provide support and security.
Secondary purposes (optional): send you product-update communications and perform internal analytics. You may object to these purposes anytime by writing to privacidad@nexcv.net without affecting the core service.
3. Transfers and processors
To provide the Service we share data with processors and providers, including: third-party AI providers, to whom your CV text is sent to generate your analysis; Stripe for payment processing; Google for sign-in; and infrastructure and hosting providers.
These providers may be located outside Mexico and process data only per our instructions and their own policies. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for the periods needed to meet legal, tax, and security obligations. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your rights and consent withdrawal
You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data.
To exercise them, email privacidad@nexcv.net with your name, the right you wish to exercise, and information to handle your request. We will respond within legal timeframes.
6. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data, such as password hashing, access control, and secure connections. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and local technologies
We use browser local storage (localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use these technologies for third-party advertising. You can clear them from your browser settings.
8. Minors
The Service is not directed to minors without guardian authorization. If you believe a minor provided us data without authorization, contact us to delete it.
9. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice. We will post the current version on this page with its update date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
